You can compare different columns with percentage complete. To do this, you need to create a new custom column with a formula. Consider an example of creating such a column to compare column values: "% Complete" and "Physical % complete".

Steps to create the custom column "Remaining % complete" in MS Project Pro:

  1. Click the "Custom Fields" button in the "Properties" block in the "Project" item of the top menu.
  2. Select field type "Task" in the "Field" block. 
  3. Select type "Number" in the "Type:" field.
  4. Select the empty field in the table and click the "Rename ...." button.
  5. Add the "Remaining % complete" name of field.
  6. Click the button "Formula..." in the "Custom attributes" block.

  15. Click the "Ok" button in the "Custom Fields" window.
