Steps to assigne equipments resources for automatic scheduling in MS Project Pro:

1. Open the Gantt chart view.
2. Click the "Task" item in the top menu.
3. Click the "Details" item in block "Properties".
4. Click the "Task Form Format" item in top menu for window "Task details from".
5. Click the "Work" item in block "Details"
6. Choose resources in the window "Task details from" in the "Resource Name" field.
7. Enter units for each assigning material resources for period in the 'Units" field. You can specify the cost for periods: hour - "hr", day - "d", week - "wk", month - "mo", year - "yr"
8. Click the "OK" button.

Steps to assigne material resources for automatic scheduling in MS Project Pro:

1. Open the "Task Usage" view.
2. Add columns: "Assignment Units", "Work", "Total Cost", and "Resource Names".
3. Assign material resources to tasks in the ""Resource Names"" column.
4. Edit the material resource cost for period in the "Assignment Units" column. You can specify the cost for periods: hour - "hr", day - "d", week - "wk", month - "mo", year - "yr"
