Creating a new project in MS Planner

Steps to create a new project plan in MS Planner

1. Open MS Planner,
2. Click the "+ New plan" button in the left menu.
3. To create a blank plan click the "New Blank Plan" button.
4. To create a new plan from template click the template name.
5. Enter a project name in the "Enter plan title" field.
6. You can join your project group in the "Add the exasting group" field.
7. Select the your plan privacy in the "Privacy and Sensitivity" field.

Describing a new project in MS Planner

Steps to describe a new project in MS Planner:

1. Click the project name or click the three point and after that click the "Plan settings" item.
2. Click the "General" item.
   1. You can change the plan name in the "Plan name" field.
   2. You can change the plan background in the "Suggested backgrounds" block.
   3. You can delete the plan click the "Delete this plan" button.
3. Click the "Group" item.
   1. You can change the group name click in the "Group name" field.
   2. You can change the group description click in the "Group description" field.
   3. You can change the group privacy.
   4. You can delete the group click the "Delete this group" button.
4. Click the "Notification" item.
   1. You can set the sending email to the group when a task is assigned or completed. (It can set only group owner). Click the "Send email to the group when a task is assigned or completed" box.
   2. You can set the sending message when someone assign a task to you (You can set it only for yourself). Click the "Someone assigns a task to me. (Email and mobile push)" box.
   3. You can set the sending message when your tasks is late (You can set it only for yourself). Click the "A task assigned to me is late, due today, or due in the next 7 days. (Email only)" box.
