Steps to set fixed cost in summary tasks in MS Project Pro:

  1. Open MS Project Server
  2. Click the "Projects" item in the left menu.
  3. Click the project name.
  4. Click the "TASK" item in the top menu.
  5. Click the "Edit" button in the "Project" block.
  6. Choose the "In Browser" item.
  7. Choose the "Task Cost" view in the "View:" field.
  8. Enter the task cost in the "Fixed Cost" column.
  9. You can enter the task cost in the "Cost" column. This cost will be added to the resource cost.
  10. You can enter the cost to the summary tasks.
  11. To save click the "Save" button in the "Project" block.
