Steps to open the project plan from MS Project Server:

1. Click the "Projects" item in the left menu.
2. Select the project plan.
3. Click the "Open" item in the top menu.
4. Click the "In Microsoft Project" item.

Steps to open the project plan from MS Project Pro:

1. Open the MS Project Pro
2. Click the "File" item in the top menu.
3. Click the "Open" item in the left menu.
4. Click the button with server name.
5. Click the "Browse" button.
6. Click the "Show me list of all projects" string.
7. Select the type store: working or published.
8. Select project name.
9. If you want to edit plan, select the "Read/Write" open mode.
10. If you want to show plan, select the "Read Only" open mode.
11. Click the "Open" button.
